Courtyard Farm shop set for Spring Opening:
Following on from the successful opening in 2008 of the Stables Bistro the Courtyard Farm Shop is due to open early in 2009. Situated in the Stables Complex at Ashton Court the farm shop will be stocking a wide range of local and fair-trade products including the estates own organic venison and vegetables.
The ethos of the shop will be local, organic and fair trade with the majority of the products being sourced within a 50 mile radius of Ashton court.
Christmas 2009
Following on from the fantastic success of The Grand Masquerade Ball, Ultimate 80’s and The Medieval Christmas at Caldicot Castle, Jamesons Events have decided to run three corporate Christmas events in 2009.
Midnight in Manhattan @ The Great Hall Bristol Grammar School
Spend an evening mingling with gangsters and moles at the legendary “Cotton Club”. Enjoy a sumptuous three course meal, mingle with the mob at the casino and dance the night away with the clubs Rat Pack Band and resident DJ.

Dreaming of a White Christmas @ Spike Island
Celebrate a traditional white Christmas complete with mulled wine a three course Christmas Feast and a visit to Santa’s Grotto. After dining why not take a visit to the igloo nightclub and dance the night away to your favourite Christmas tunes.

A medieval Christmas @ Caldicot Castle
Come and make merry at Caldicot castles famous medieval banquet.
In the grand style of our Nobel ancestors we invite you to join the Baron and Baroness as they celebrate Christmas with a sumptuous feast in the great hall.
Whilst you dine the Great Hall will come alive to the sounds of live traditional music performed by professional Welsh musicians.

New Bistro set for opening
The eagerly awaited Stables Bistro at Ashton Court is set to open on Saturday 25th October 2008.
The intimate dining area has recently been fully refurbished with money from the lottery heritage fund. Jamesons Events have appointed Gary Vincent formally of Brasserie Blanc to oversee the food offerings. The bistro will be open Wednesday – Friday 12.00pm-3.00pm and 6pm – 9pm (last orders) and all day Saturday and Sunday.
All of the menus are based around local and seasonal produce including the estates own organic venison. The chef brigade will be offering a range of lunchtime meals priced from £6.50 and an a la carte menu with two courses for £16.95 and three courses for £19.50. The ever popular Sunday Roast will be available with two courses for £9.95.

Christmas 2008 selling fast
Following record sales this year’s Christmas Events are selling fast. The Grand Masquerade Ball (Bristol Grammar School) has now sold out and both Ultimate 80’s (Spike Island) and The Christmas Banquets (Caldicot Castle) are selling fast.

More Success in 2008
Jamesons Events are pleased to announce more success in 2008. Following on from our successful tender at Caldicot Castle, Jamesons Events have been awarded a 5 year contract to supply public catering in the Courtyard Complex at Ashton Court. The planned development includes The Coach House Cafe offering a range of snacks, light meals and drinks, the Stables Bistro with its lunch and dinner menus created using local and seasonal produce and the Courtyard Farm Shop offering a wide range of locally sourced produce including the Estates own organic venison.
The complex will be managed by rosette winning chef Dave “Elvis” Jones.
Children's Themed Parties launched at Caldicot Castle:
Set in the buildings and grounds of a real Norman Castle Jamesons Events are pleased to announce the launch of their themed birthday parties for Children. A number of set themes have been put together including Knights and Princesses and the Barons Medieval Cooking Experience. All packages can be tailored to meet any specific requirements.
Art Attack at Caldicot Castle:
To promote the newly improved facilities at Caldicot Castle and the introduction of Children’s themed Parties Jamesons Events are hosting an Art Competition for Children up to 16 years old. Three categories 0-7, 8 to 12 and 13 to 16 with some spectacular prizes on offer should make this a hotly fought competition with closing for entries on the 1st August 2008. UWE Business Facility Graduation Ball:
The annual UWE Business Grad Ball was held at the Passenger Shed on the 31st May 2008 with Jamesons Events providing all the theming , food and bar operations. Cat Chapman events co-ordinator who was responsible for the organisation and management of the event was pleased to declare “after creating a very convincing circus theme for the graduating students it was a real buzz to see them all get into the spirit of the event with such enthusiasm.

Jamesons go green
As part of our drive to go green Jamesons have introduced a tree-planting scheme to help reduce our carbon footprint. For every event booked with a value in excess of £1000.00 Jamesons will plant two trees in sustainable woodland. The tree-planting scheme is the first step towards Jameson’s aim of becoming carbon neutral.
