Caldicot Castle

Caldicot Castle offers a distinctive, unusual and atmospheric venue for every event in its beautiful setting of tranquil gardens and wooded country park. Founded by the Normans, developed as a stronghold in the middle Ages and restored as a Victorian Family home, the castle has a romantic and colorful history.
The venue is spilt into 4 areas.

The Banquet Hall:

Suitable for banquets, wedding, meetings and conferences this grand hall holds 120 banquets style and 100 conference style. The banquet hall is used to host the regular public banquets and murder mystery events run by Jamesons Events.
The Banquet Hall is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies.

The Solar Room:

Suitable for smaller groups this holds 25 for dining and 30 conference style. The Solar room is the perfect place to sample the fabulous feasting table, hold a reception for your clients or celebrate your Child's birthday with one of fantastic knights and princess parties.

Castle Grounds:

The fabulous castle gardens offer a picturesque setting for any event. Whether you're looking for a romantic backdrop for your wedding photos or somewhere to hold a unique team building event the castle gardens are ideal.
If you require a bigger area the country park comprising 55 acres of mixed woodland and parkland can play host to a huge range of events form an it's a Knockout Tournament to a classical concert.

Coffee Shop:

Open daily (March through to September) from 10.30-4.30 the Bakehouse and coffee shop offers a wide range of meals, snacks, ice creams and hot and cold drink. The bake house is available for free use by local groups and societies.
